Senior Media Analyst, Macquarie Bank

Alex Pollak runs Macquarie Securities' media analysis business, providing investment advice on media companies to large institutional investors.  The larger Macquarie team of which Alex is a part has floated companies such as TEN Network Holdings, Austereo, RG Capital Radio and Seek Ltd, and is a private equity player in Australia's largest radio company, formed through the merger of RG Capital Radio and the regional assets of DMG, as well as the broadcasting towers of Macquarie Communications Infrastructure Group and Macquarie Capital Alliance.

Alex joined Macquarie Bank in 1991 after a stint as a finance journalist on the Sydney Morning Herald.
