Mark Hughes is a Partner in the Communications Practice within Accenture, based in Sydney.  Mark has worked in the communications industry in the UK, Europe and the US as well as Asia and Australia for over 15 years.  Mark is responsible for Accenture's Networks practice in South Asia, which has deep expertise in implementing broadband technologies, including wireless and 3G, at scale.  The team has developed specific insights which combine knowledge of the local telecoms market, with our extensive implementation work with both local telecoms clients and most of the leading broadband and wireless operators around the world.  Mark will share some of the team's insights into the challenges that 3G content faces in bridging "the last metre" - getting customers to actually utilise the products and services that operators and service providers are making available.
