Andrew T Kenyon

Associate Professor Andrew Kenyon is the Director of the CMCL - Centre for Media and Communications Law at the University of Melbourne Faculty of Law.  Andrew researches in comparative media law, across topics in defamation, journalism, free speech, digital communications and copyright.  His books include: Defamation: Comparative Law and Practice (UCL Press, 2006); and New Dimensions in Privacy Law: International and Comparative Perspectives, co-edited with Megan Richardson (Cambridge UP, 2006).  Andrew is also the editor of the international refereed journal, the Media & Arts Law Review.  Currently, he is leading ARC research projects related to: defamation, journalism and public debate in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore; digital television in Australia, the UK and US; and digital collections in cultural institutions, creators and copyright law.
