Keith Jones
Keith Jones, General Manager, Manufacturing, Panasonic
Keith is currently employed as General Manager, Manufacturing at Panasonic AV Networks Australia Pty Ltd. He has been with this company for 13 years. Prior to this he held a number of Engineering and Management positions predominantly in Software Engineering. He has a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies and a Masters Degree in Economics.
Keith has a high commitment to the introduction of Digital TV and has been involved in many industry forums associated with Digital TV Technology. He is also chair of Standards Australia Committee CT-2 which is responsible for Broadcasting and Receiver standards. Most recently Keith has addressed an IEC meeting in Paris on Standby Power in Set Top Boxes and is a director of Product Stewardship Australia Ltd a company formed by CESA to initiate an Industry scheme to take back and recycle TVs.
