Marat Fainstein

Marat Fainstein is a principal research officer with Research, Statistics and Technology Branch, Department of Communications, Information technology and the Arts (DCITA).  Marat has provided modelling and economic advice on a number of issues for the Department including price controls, FTTX and broadband demand and adoption modelling.  Prior to his work at DCITA, Marat was an economist with ABARE undertaking research and modelling in commodities analysis and gas market outcomes.

Marat holds a BCom (Hons) from the University of Wollongong and is currently undertaking a Master of Applied Economics at the ANU.
