Rhonda Breit

Rhonda Breit lectures in media law and ethics at the University of Queensland in Brisbane Australia.  A graduate from Melbourne University Law School, Rhonda has completed postgraduate studies in media law and a PhD in journalism ethics.  Before joining the University of Queensland, Rhonda was the co-ordinator of the journalism program at Deakin University in Victoria.  Her research interests include media law and ethics generally, but she is particularly interested in defamation law, the legal implications of online technology and media ethics.  Throughout her career, Rhonda has worked as a journalist, legal adviser and has taught business law at Monash University, in Victoria.
