Dominic Stone

Digital Media Manager, AP South, IBM

Dominic Stone is the IBM Digital Media Solutions Manager, Asia Pacific. He has extensive media industry experience in operations and senior management. He holds a Communications degree and is a Master of Business Administration. He is currently completing a Masters degree in Media Technology and Law.

Before joining IBM, Mr Stone held a number of senior executive positions in the television industry. He was General Manager of Australia Television, the pan-Asian satellite television channel during its start-up phase as part of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

Mr Stone joined IBM to lead Broadcast Solutions for the Asia Pacific region in early 1998. He introduced new digital television solutions into China before taking a wider role in Digital Media. He is currently negotiating solution programs in Australia, China and the Philippines.
