Stuart Simson
Stuart Simson has 39 years experience in the Australian media covering the “old” and the “new.” He is a former MD of the The Age and Sunday Age, CEO and Editor of BRW Publications. He has owned and operated regional radio stations and conceived and produced the Business Daily TV show for Sky News. In the new media he has produced web sites for AFL clubs and a number of business web sites. He is a former Chairman of emitch Limited, the largest on-line advertising agency in Australia and NZ. He is an investor in on-line media agency Switch Digital Pty Ltd. He co-authored the 2000 Productivity Commission Report into the Broadcasting Services Act. He is a Director of Loop Mobile Pty Ltd, a Council member of Leadership Victoria, and a member of the CSIRO’s ICT Sector Advisory Committee.
