John Rimmer

John Rimmer has recently retired as Chief Executive Officer of the National Office for the Information Economy (NOIE). Previously he was a consultant and company director specialising in corporate strategy for private sector companies and public sector bodies coming to grips with the impact of ICT on their strategies and operations. He was formerly a senior Victorian government public servant in Health and Premiers departments and the founding Executive Director of Multimedia Victoria.

He is currently a member of the Council of the Australian Film Television and Radio School, a member of the Australian Health Information Council, a Director of JTP Joint Technology Parks Pty Ltd, and a Director of Information City Victoria.
