Caroline LovellPartner, Clayton UtzCaroline is a corporate advisory lawyer and specialises in the law relating to telecommunications, broadcasting and radiocommunications. Caroline advises Australian and international clients on the regulatory implications of proposed activities or transactions. She has negotiated a variety of complex agreements - for the supply and installation of networks, mobile virtual network arrangements and arrangements between public utilities and carriers in relation to the installation of telecommunications infrastructure. She also practises in the government services area and has considerable experience in project managing the provision of legal services to strategically significant government projects. Caroline is a regular contributor to industry publications and an author of a number of texts in the communications area, including Halsbury's Laws of Australia title on Telecommunications. In recent years she has presented papers on telecommunications regulatory issues at international conferences and given tutorials in telecommunications law for media and law courses at the University of New South Wales. Caroline is an Executive Committee Member of the Communications and Media Law Association, a Board member of the Communications Law Centre (UNSW), a member, Women Lawyers (NSW) Association, a Fellow of the Center for International Legal Studies, a member of the Media and Communications Committee of the Business Law Section, Law Council of Australia and a member, Service Providers Industry Association (telecommunications industry association).
